Kenneth Glascock, 74, of Quincy, died at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday (October 7, 2015) in Des Moines Iowa Veterans Administration Hospital.
Born June 26, 1941 in Hannibal, Missouri, Kenneth was the son of Edward Kenneth and Mary Ruth Chain Glascock.
Mr. Glascock served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Kenneth enjoyed fishing, reading, solving crossword puzzles and watching movies.
A 1959 graduate of Quincy High School, Kenneth was a sales representative for Schemmings and Forbes Clothiers in Quincy for several years until his retirement.
Survivors include two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Dooley (Latrell) of St. Peters, MO and Linda Boyd (Mike) of Wichita, KS; a nephew, Steve Dooley of Wentzville, MO; a niece, Pam Havecker (John) of Hewitt, N.J.
Mr. Glascock was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside memorial services with military honors will be held Friday morning (October 16, 2015) at Sunset Cemetery at the Illinois Veterans Home.
The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
