KEVIN L. NADERHOFF
Kevin Lee Naderhoff, 60, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of Quincy, died Saturday (August 29, 2015) at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
Born August 1, 1955 in Quincy, Kevin was the son of Robert and Dolores Killday Naderhoff. In 1976, he married Karen Peter in Quincy. For the past 16 years, Kevin shared his life with Melissa Richey of Springfield, Illinois.
Kevin was a 1974 graduate of Catholic Boys High School in Quincy. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Quincy and Springfield. An avid outdoorsman, Kevin enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He loved having cookouts and hanging out with his many friends. Kevin was devoted to his family and especially loved to watch his son, James, play football and spending time with his grandchildren.
Kevin was currently employed as a Union Painter for Local No. 90 for over 20 years in Quincy and Springfield.
Survivors include two sons, Cory L. Naderhoff (Tonya) of Quincy and James A. Richey of Springfield, IL; one daughter, Kaylie R. Naderhoff of Quincy, two grandchildren Abrie Naderhoff and Eli Naderhoff both of Quincy; his mother, Dolores Naderhoff of Quincy; two brothers, Kent Naderhoff (Donna) of St. Petersburg, FL and Kraig Naderhoff (Susie) of Quincy, IL; a sister, Kathy Westerhold (John) of Springfield, IL; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Naderhoff was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Kelly Naderhoff.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Wentzel officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Saturday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.
