KITTY V. TAYLOR
Mrs. Kitty V. Taylor, 84, of Sunset Home, formerly of Columbus, Illinois, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday (March 31, 2013) in Sunset Home.
Born December 22, 1928 in Higbee, Missouri, Kitty was the daughter of John and Mary Arney Rockenfield. She was married to Milton Hignite who preceded her in death.
Kitty devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. She enjoyed going to flea markets throughout the area.
Survivors include two sons, Milton Hignite (Grace Starks) of West Point, IL and Scott Taylor (Theresa) of Taylor, MO; two daughters, Patricia Pulis of Ft. Madison, IA and Delores Wade of Columbus, IL; seven grandchildren, Kristie Cobb of Quincy, Eric Pulis, Shawn Pulis and Michele Becker all of Ft. Madison, IA, John Wade of Columbus, IL, Clifford Wade (Rhonda) of Ewing, MO and Larry Wade Jr. (Rose) of Plymouth, IL; nine great grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; and those who became a part of her family at The Haven at Sunset Home.
Kitty was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Joy Lynn; a son in law, Larry Wade Sr.; and twelve brothers and sisters.
Cremation rites have been accorded to Mrs. Taylor. Friends are invited to a celebration of life for Kitty on Sunday (April 7, 2013) at 2:30 p.m. in the Sunset Home Chapel.
The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
