Linda Kay Lierly, 72, of Quincy, died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday (August 6, 2017) in her home.
Born November 5, 1944 in Quincy, Linda was the daughter of Paul and Kathryn Richardson Hull. She married James M. Lierly on June 6, 1964 in Beverly, Illinois. He survives.
Linda was of the Methodist Faith. She had been active as a volunteer with Job's Daughters and she enjoyed helping her family and friends with whatever they needed. She loved working outdoors in her yard, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Linda stayed at home to raise her family but had also been employed at Moorman Manufacturing for 10 years.
Survivors include her husband, James; her daughter, Kim Lubbert (Allen) of Quincy; her son, Mark Lierly of Quincy; her two grandchildren, Eric Lubbert and Abbey Lubbert of Quincy; her brother, Gary Hull (Sandra) of Wooster, OH; her sister in law, Donna Egenes of Liberty, IL; and her nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Disseler officiating. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
