LOIS F. CURLEY
Lois F. Curley, 87, of Quincy, died at 10:18 a.m. Friday (May 20, 2016) in Good Samaritan Home.
Born March 29, 1929 in Marshalltown, Iowa, Lois was the daughter of Warren and Mabel Shepard Vickers. She married Thomas Curley and he preceded her in death.
Lois enjoyed solving puzzles and cherished the time she spent with her family.
Lois was employed for many years in Housekeeping at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa until her retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Adams (Jim) of Quincy and LeAnn David of Clive, IA; two sons, Randy Weatherman (Lori) of Des Moines, IA and Rick Weatherman (Sandy) of Ankeny, IA; grandchildren, Stacy Adams of Quincy, IL, Tricia Johnson (Ben) of Libertyville, IL, Lana Beals (Rick) of Colfax, IA, Andrea Moore (Ken) of Cedar Falls, IA, Joshua Weatherman of Des Moines, Kolby Weatherman of Des Moines, IA, Chelsie Stroup (Dan) of Fort Rucker AL, Amelia, Nolan, and Jessica Nelson of Ankeny, IA; great grandchildren, Henry, Ellie, and Nick Johnson of Libertyville IL, Raynee Hagelberg (Ken) of Clive, IA, and Avery Lees of Colfax IA; a brother, Warren "Butch" Vickers (Judy) of Loveland, CO; a sister, Wilma Rankin of Hixson, TN; and many nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; three brothers Vernon, Melvin and Harley Vickers, and three sisters, Edna Davis, Martha Willits, and Maxine Myers.
Cremation has been accorded to Lois. No services will be held.
The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
