Marjorie "Marge" Morris

July 22, 1927 ~ November 8, 2012 (age 85)

   Miss Marjorie J. "Marge" Morris, 85, of Quincy, died at 4:22 a.m. Thursday (November 8, 2012) in Blessing Hospital.

   Born July 22, 1927 in Quincy, Marjorie was the daughter of Henry and Margaret Wittler Morris.

   Marge was a 1945 graduate of Quincy High School and a member of the Quincy Business Women's Association. An avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and Nascar fan with Tony Stewart being her favorite driver. Marjorie also had a passion for antiques, but her greatest joy was spending time with her niece and nephews  and great nieces and great nephew.

   Marge was employed for over 30 years at Mercantile Bank as a bookkeeper. Following her retirement, she became a clerk at Yesteryear Antique Mall for several years.

   Survivors include two nephews, Kyle Krohn (Amy) and Kevin Krohn both of Quincy; a niece, Karry Kizlik (Rick) of Hammond, WI; five great nieces, Kelsey Kizlik, Taylor Kizlik, Jenna Kizlik, Lauren Kizlik and Nora Krohn; a great nephew, Evan Krohn; and a cousin, Virginia Keller of Palmyra, MO.

   Marge was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Patricia "Patt" Krohn.

    Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 in the  Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

   There is no visitation, but friends are invited to the services.

   Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
