Marvin Fuller, 73, of Payson, died at 9:11 p.m. Thursday (December 10, 2015) in Blessing Hospital.
Born October 8, 1942, Marvin was the son of George and Edna Seiz Fuller. He married Carolyn Ann Gramke on July 17, 1971, in Quincy. She preceded him in death on May 29, 2012.
Marvin was a former member of the Burton Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Adams County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed working outside, working on his farm, going to auctions and the Hamilton Old Threshers.
Marvin first worked at Kalo Industries for 12 years, and then as a custodian at the Payson Seymour High School for 5 years. He last worked at Prairie Farms for 19 years, until his retirement in 2006.
Survivors include three sons, George Fuller (Heather) of Canton, IL, Greg Fuller of Camp Point, and John Fuller of Payson; four grandchildren, Mahkalay Myers, Quinten Fuller, Amelia Fuller and Corbin Fuller all of Canton, IL; one brother, Roger Fuller (Loretta) of Payson; one sister, Geneva Perry of Payson; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn; and two brothers, Clarence Fuller and Kenneth Fuller.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson with Chaplain Dan Brothers officiating. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home in Payson.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
