Nancy Morrison

March 19, 1952 ~ July 10, 2015 (age 63)

   Nancy Morrison, 63, of Orlando, Florida,  formerly of Quincy, died at 1:10 a.m. Friday (July 10, 2015) at her home in Quincy surrounded by her loving family.

   Born March 19, 1952 in Quincy, Nancy was the daughter of Charles R. "Chuck" and Marilyn R. Nicholson Morrison. Nancy lived in Orlando, Florida with her life partner of over 35 years, Marilyn Covington.  

   Nancy was a 1970 graduate of Quincy High School and enjoyed watching all sports.  She had a strong faith in God and family. Nancy shared her entire life, her sense of humor, and love with her partner, siblings, nieces and nephews and extended family.  She also cared for and gave her time and love to her neighbors and to her pets.  The love Nancy gave to her family is unending. She is celebrated as a true blessing and we will all carry her in our hearts until we meet again.  

   Nancy was employed with Air Traffic Services in Orlando for over 15 years.  

   Survivors include her life partner,  Marilyn Covington of Orlando, FL; sister-in law, Lisa Lupo; brother-in-law, Tristan Covington (Connie);  two sisters, Diane Morrison and Jill Johnson (Phill) both of Quincy; two brothers, Andrew Morrison (Lisa) and Scott Morrison (Tami) both of Quincy; several nieces and nephews, Nicki Lupo, Jesse Covington, Phillip Johnson, Jenna Johnson, Paul Johnson, Chris Morrison (Stephanie), Mindy Morrison (Krystal Bou), Molly Morrison (Kiersten Wren), Tiffany Morrison, Heather Clark (Andrew), Erica Frye (Brent), Ryan Morrison (Kristie), Brad Hudson (Amy) and Kelli Lambert (Gary); and many loving great nieces and great nephews.

   Nancy was preceded in death by her loving parents, aunts and uncles.

   Graveside services will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. in Greenmount Cemetery with Pastor Tim White officiating.

   There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside service. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

   Memorials may be made to the ASPCA, Quincy High School Athletic Department, or Quincy High School Music Department.
