SHIRLEY ANN STINNETT
Shirley Ann Stinnett, 86, of Quincy, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Friday (May 4, 2018) in the home of her son, surrounded by her family.
Born October 26, 1931 in Quincy, Shirley was the daughter of Herbert W. and Marian F. Mester Bange. She married Calvin W. Stinnett Sr. on March 17, 1950 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2012.
Shirley enjoyed camping and fishing, but her greatest joy was the time she shared with her family. She will be remembered as an accomplished cook and excellent baker, especially for her pies.
Shirley stayed home to raise her family. She was later employed in the cafeteria at Quincy Soybean for 14 years until her retirement in 1992.
Survivors include a son, Calvin W. Stinnett Jr. (Marla) of Quincy; two daughters, Sharon Logsdon (William) of Mission, TX and Becky Reilly (Philip III) of Quincy; seven grandchildren, Jody Logsdon-Richie (Jarrod), William Logsdon (Brandy), C. J. Stinnett (Nichole), Brandy Bartlett, Alex Stinnett (Lacy), Brittney Yates and Cassie Walker (Eric); seventeen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter with another great great grandchild due in October; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Calvin W. Stinnett Sr.; and a brother, Bernard "Bernie" Bange.
Funeral services will be Private.
