Suzanne (Arendt) Mann

December 6, 1943 ~ November 17, 2014 (age 70)

Suzanne Bertha Mann, age 70, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was taken unexpectedly as a result of a heart attack the morning of November 17, 2014, in the loving arms of her spouse of almost 51 years, Charles. She was born December 6, 1943 to the late John and Evelyn Arendt.

Suzanne was a loving and caring person to all who knew her, a fantastic grower of beautiful garden flowers, a prolific knitter who loved to give her projects as gifts, a generous soul who loved to travel and visit friends and family near and far, and a nationally accomplished and high-profile dental hygienist who was a valued part of many dental care teams over the decades. She was an amazing mentor to many, a voracious reader and student of life.

She graduated from  Marquette University and married Charles on Dec 28, 1963. They ran a successful drive-in restaurant in Hortonville for several decades and she still helped in the kitchen in the summers after two of her children took over.

She was loved by all who knew her and had a beautiful smile and great sense of fun and adventure. She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her husband Charles, son Carl (Tori), daughters Susan Silkwood and Rachel Mann-Rosenfeldt(Scott), grandchildren Sage, Daed, Thalia, Ziya, Aramie, and Kharis,  step grandchildren Alex and Taylor, siblings Jean Ulman (Ron), Lynn Arendt, and Jan Arendt (Colleen), brother-in law Michael Mann (Debbie), and sisters-in-law Deb Demerath (Russ) and Abbie Arndt (Jim).  She is also survived by best friends Michael and Kathleen Pfitzner and  by the many people whose lives she touched with her beautiful spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents,  her brother-in-law Robert Mann, and her dear friend Jan Spearings.

An open house to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the Hortonville Administrative Building  531 N. Nash St Hortonville, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm with a service at 4:00 pm.

Death will not divide us from you, mom. We love you dearly and you will always be cherished.
