ZELMA MARIE DAVIS
Zelma M. Davis, 84, of Quincy died at 4:25 a.m. Sunday (March 13, 2016) in Sycamore Health Care Center.
Born October 14, 1931, Zelma was the daughter of Charles Warren and Maragret Zimmerman Clark.
Zelma was an active member at Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ in Quincy. She volunteered for the Senior Citizens of Adams County, and at the soup kitchen at Salem Church and the Salvation Army.
She had been employed for several years for a blue print company in Freeport, New York. After her retirement Zelma spent her time being a wonderful mother and homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Russell C. Davis and Wayne W. Davis; two daughters, Lisa L Davis Kirkpatrick and Charlene Farraro; six grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Davis, Edward Francis Williams, Crystal Marie P. Wright, Nicolas C. Canini Hummel, Latoyta T. Canini Powell, Vincent Farraro, Lieanna Farraro, four great grandchildren, Tierra Bias, Akaya Lord, Anthony Lord and Delton Hummel; two sisters, Sandra Albanese of Florida and Maragret (Mickey) Clark of Nassa Co, New York.
Zelma was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert D. Clark, James Clark, and Gary Clark.
Cremation rites were accorded. No services are planned at this time.
The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
